I liked Jake West's last movie EVIL ALIENS. It was trashy, bloody, erotic and most of the time just fucking hilarious. But DOGHOUSE is a very different story. No, not really, because first of all there is no story.
There are just five not very interesting male characters stuck in a village with man-hating female zombies. Sounds still fun? Could have been. But DOGHOUSE just ruins it. Yes, there are some good Jake West moments in it.
But that's not enough. On the other hand I have zero tension, zero story development and zero entertainment, mainly because every female zombie just looks like shit! There is not a single sexy shot ins this film.
Not a single! Jakes zombies just look ugly. And unfortunately the whole movie does. Something must have gone wrong in the grading, because these way too dark, way too green pictures were nothing but a joke! You can do better than that Jake.
