Doghouse is a very British low-budget horror/comedy. On the one hand, there is a lot of boys-will-be-boys fun, buddy-bonding and zany horror/action scenes. But there is also a pervasive misogyny to this movie.
I'm sure that social statements were the last thing on the minds of the movie makers, but it all still seems a bit "off", like the smell of an all-male freshman dorm.
