Review of Doghouse (2009) by Ellen G — 12 Nov 2009
Not to be taken seriously, this is an entertaining piece of horror movie that's more trash than scary. A group of men--all with their own kind of woman trouble--head to a remote town for a weekend of bonding but instead meet the curious locals, where the blokes are dead and the girls are monsters, literally.
Danny Dyer (Severance) takes another turn at playing a misogynist chav in a movie that might not be as well-executed as similar horror comedy survivalist flick, the cult favourite, Shaun of the Dead, but is still as fun and facetious.
Best viewed with pizza and beer.
