Review of Doghouse (2009) by Robert H — 25 Aug 2010
Amusing Horror/Comedy from the Director of "Evil Aliens", featuring an excellent British cast. Stephen Graham, Danny Dyer and Noel Clarke stand out from the ensemble.
In an effort to cheer up a soon to be divorced mate, a group of friends go on a trip to a quiet country town where the female to male ratio is 3:1. However, a military experiment has turned all the women into flesh-eating Zombabes.
A quite literal battle of the sexes film, with little to no subtlety, and can be at times quite mysoginistic. But, this is a story about men rediscovering their manhood and friends rediscovering thier friendships.
Not to mention that this is a pretty good Zombie flick in it's own right.
