The opening was good. But keeps throwing the N word around to be edgy. And it isn't. Lots of voice over to explain why we should care about any of this mess. Looks like it was shot by a very ambitious fan of Schrader's that just got out of film school, rather than a work by the man himself.
As he said about Malik's Knight of Cups...."Really?".
