Review of Dog Day Afternoon (1975) by Maymay A — 24 Nov 2010
"Anything can happen during the dog days of summer. On August 22nd, 1972, everything did.".
Aside from the magnificent Al Pacino, the screenplay raised the whole film. It was kind of thrilling and peculiar in a pretty nice way. What is even more interesting is that it really happened in reality. It ran for over two hours, but it felt like it's only about 30 minutes long. That's how entertaining this is. It was a real treat.
