Review of Doctor Zhivago (1965) by Fritz C — 23 Jan 2010
An epic love story almost as long as 'Gone with the Wind.' What made me give it 4 stars were the actors' acting and the overall production. Beautiful shots of mountains and forests with or without snow were fascinating.
Great photography, riveting cinematography, and the music was perfect for the overall theme of the film. Truly, a great piece of art set during Russian revolution showing a condensed but faithful adaptation of Boris Pasternak's epic novel.
