A very good period piece of hard times Russia.
Actors are brilliant, script is very good, cinematography is top tier and the story makes you feel the harsh coldness of it's land, weather and peoples.
Romance, intrigue, betrayal, indifference, tragedy...it is all here.
This epic is a must for any BluRay/ DVD collection.
It's a classic and is timeless.
