Following hard on the heels of Lawrence of Arabia, director David Lean produces another masterful movie of epic proportions. Set in WWI and the Bolshevik Revolution, the story is of the equally epic-but-tragic love between a married Russian doctor/poet (Omar Sharif) and a political activist's wife (Julie Christie).
You can't die without having seen this film. That would just be wrong.
