Review of Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor (2013) by Philip S — 10 Jun 2014
The Day of the Doctor is an amazing film to celebrate Doctor Who's 50th year, and though Stephen Moffat's writing is still pretty bad, it is much better here and David Tennant is great back in his role.
John Hurt also introduces a new Doctor from the past and is fit to play the role. Jenna Louise Coleman is still easing into the role and still doesn't have a proper personality, having existed in Series 7 as a plot piece.
It is great to finally see the Time War again and the Special Effects in this story are amazing.
