Review of Doctor Who (1996) by James 4 — 24 Aug 2008
Unsuccessful attempt to crack the American market - this was the pilot - with Paul McGann as the 8th incarnation of the timelord. The story is pretty weak and the execution is botched, and whilst it tries to catchy the inherent British quirkiness it ultimately fails.
No better than your average TV movie.
