Review of Doctor Sleep (2019) by Isreal777888 — 09 Nov 2019

I disliked the fact the plot was lame having the group of Villians going around stealing majority child souls just to keep themselves alive and I feel they only choose the young black actress as a ploy to draw afro Americans fans of "Black Panther" because in the novel "Abra" isn't described as Afro-American she is actually supposed to be blood-related to main character "Danny", the overall vibe of the movie was nowhere like the horror/psychological vibe of the original, this version is more of a superhero vibe.

What I did like was the aesthetics of this film and the actors were very skilled I think the director did a fine job of turning a horror masterpiece into an enjoyable superhero versus villains movie.
