I still hum these songs from time to time.

Not just a story of a man who can talk to animals. It's a prison break, a love story, a sailing adventure to an Island that moves, to find a Giant Sea Snail bigger than the largest ship, also a brief cameo...(read more) from the Giant Moth that lives on the Moon, and a song about being a vegetarian but still wanting to eat all of the animals around you. Granted I focus on specific elements, but it's all there, and that's how I remember it.

I hope Eddie Murphy's update, won't be the only way this character is remembered, this was up there with Willy Wonka for me.
