Review of Doc Savage: The Man of Bronze (1975) by Clyde S — 25 Feb 2010
A friend of mine introduced me to the Doc Savage novel series when I was about 11 years old. By the time this film came out I was 13 and had read at least 20 of the books. I remember being one of the first in line to see it when it hit town and giddily talking about it afterward.
My temptation is to give it four stars but good sense tells me that 13 year old Randy's opinion differs considerably from 47 year old Randy's opinion. Hence, I'll split the difference between what I remember and what I suspect, at least until I see it again.
*NOTE: There is a remake in the works from the same director that brought us Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang.
