Pretty bad, yes. But not as terrible as I expected it to be. Maybe the reason I'm not so harsh on it is because I'm a fan of the game series and it (to an extent) captures the ridiculous nature of the games, but really, this doesn't try to be anything it's not.
Cheesy, stupid, action-packed, laughable, guilty entertainment. It's the kind of fun bad movie. Most importantly, every time I forget the name of the film while watching it, the name D.O.A. pops up on screen in ridiculous fashions.
