Review of Do the Right Thing (1997) by Lohita P — 17 Dec 2009
This is such a powerful movie as rising temperatures give way to tempers and racial tensions boil over before exploding in a NYC neighbourhood. The first half would have you think this is a bit of a comedy but that mood changes in the second half.
Director Spike Lee tells it like it is about racism in America. An unforgettable experience.
