Review of Do the Right Thing (1997) by Victor P — 24 Jun 2010
Do the Right Thing...
And see this film. In regards to all that Spike Lee has done for us in film, this is what we'll remember him with. He made a film that is simple yet complicated. A film who's characters are relateable and understood in all ways and that we can look up or down to. It makes us think and wonder about what happens throughout this masterpiece. Da Mayor, Mother Sister, Sal, Mookie, Buggin, Radio, and all other characters and their ordeals which erupt to a fanale which either you agree with or don't. And with no heroes or villains to blame everything is left to the viewer. It truely is wonderful. And thats the truth, Ruth.
