Not an enjoyable movie. Apart from the gangster ghetto language and attitude for the whole movie, the consistent language, uneducated conversation, and complete inability for anyone to be reasonable to any degree just weighed upon me the entire time.
Spike Lee paints a picture of that side of his race, hopefully challenging them to rise beyond that level, and to step up and take control of their lives. If you don't after watching this, evolution must be true and development must take millions of years.
