Review of Django Unchained (2012) by Oliver C — 12 Sep 2015
Whilst a highly stylised look at the antebellum south could be seen as overlooking the atrocity of slavery, its brutality and heroic title character make this a perfect blend of realism and stylised aestheticization.
Not to mention a superb ensemble performance with an oscar-winning script from QT.
