Review of Django (1966) by Tico P — 14 Jun 2007
One of the best spaghetti westerns ever . A drifter walks into a western town dragging a coffin behind him through the dusty streets. What's inside ? The town is run by a brotherhood KKK like order who immediately disapprove the newcomers arrival.
Saying more would spoil the the plot, but have in mind this is a good atmospheric story with excellent characters.Django is ten times more suave than Clint ever was. People fall dead half a second before getting shot , thanks to the lousy dubbing.
This was followed by numerous sequels. Starring Franco Nero and directed by Sergio Corbucci. Great music as well.
