Review of Dixie Chicks: Shut Up and Sing (2006) by Faaiz I — 12 Aug 2010
I always find it funny that conservatives scream about freedom of speech BUT when they hear something they don't like they try everything in their power to remove freedom of speech! Or at least muzzle the people involved.
The Dixie Chicks verbalized what a lot of progressives felt. GW was an embarassment and the war was a mistake. The fire storm of insanity they recieved was not fair but at that time if you even said word against the GW or the war you were branded a traitor and of course hated America and the troops! I admire the Chicks for refusing to back down. I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Chicks win a boat load of Grammy's for their post insanity record. The look on the faces of those country stars when the Chicks won was priceless. Worth watching.
