Review of Divergent (2014) by Josh O — 04 Jan 2015

With YA adaptations being all the rage right now they can't all be winners. Divergent is a rather bland film on a rather old ideal bringing nothing new and nothing exciting to an already oversaturated marketplace.

Though it is competently made it is shoddily written and longer than it needs to be, it also does help when there's nothing truly compelling going on and you aren't connected to the characters.
