I think these bad ratings are only there because those people haven't read the book. The book is very good and so is the movie. I read the book and then watched the movie and I was very pleased. The actors played their parts extremely well, and they make you feel something for them.
When their going through tough situation, you hurt for them; when they go through sweet situations, you feel happy.
