My review of the movie: "Insurgent".
Insurgent is just as good as the first movie "Divergent". Which means they are both bad. The plot is bland confusing and predictable. The characters are forgettable. The romance is creepy. What is it with chick action movies? Why is it in every action movie where the lead is a chick. The love interest is up her ass in half of the movie? Isn't the point of the movie strength and independence?
I miss the good old days when the main star just banged a broad he liked and then continued on with what he was doing. Seriously, I don't care about anyone in this movie.
The acting, it's like everyone in this movie during shooting realized while they were shooting. That they didn't want to be in this movie. And had already "in their minds" moved on from this franchise. The movie is bad. Which is a shame. I enjoy the premise. But the execution is just eww.
