Review of Divergent (2014) by Jason S — 24 Jun 2015
I've never read the book so I felt a little confused at times. This film takes too long to develop and felt too much like The Hunger Games. I couldn't understand how this society set in a dystopian future Chicago could perfect mind control and other technological advances, but couldn't figure out how to rebuild the crumbling infrastructure of Chicago or even sweep the streets.
