Review of Disturbia (2007) by Charvel G — 17 Nov 2012
This is a remake of sorts to Hitchcock's Rear Window. Unfortunately the central premise is bogged down by tedious teenage angst/romance padding. Rear Window was much a more focused film. Disturbia appears to be concerned that its audience wont have the attention span to deal with a film that doesn't have, the a teen romance and generic thriller elements.
It's a shame that Rear Window need to be 'remixed' in this way. Why can younger generations not just watch the originals? This is vapid.
