Review of Disgrace (2008) by Codie E — 21 Mar 2010
Dealing with a great number of issues including racism, apartheid, sexual desire, pride, forgiveness, understanding, the film never focuses itself. What's more, the slow pace of the film, rather than giving time for reflection on these issues, gives time to become distracted from the film and its messages.
However it is an interesting piece and features a very good performance by John Malkovich.
