Review of Disgrace (2008) by Giuliana L — 11 May 2010

Oh, was John Malkovich ever good in this? Oh, yes he was! I haven't seen him in much, or much that I can remember but he wasfantastic in this. The woman who played his daughter was also very good, though I've never heard of her, I wouldn't be surprised to see her in a lot more movies in the future. I thought that the two worked really well as father/daughter as their relationship and characters were extremely believable.

It's not the kind of movie I'd typically watch, but I gave it a shot and was pleasantly surprised. Not sure what to say...it made me angry at people for multiple reasons. It also made me never want to visit South Africa, ever. It's just a small movie, so don't go into it expecting a lot and you might enjoy it.
