Review of Disco Pigs (2001) by Hani H — 25 Dec 2008
The acting is marvelous. Cillian Murphy is down-right chilling as his performance as Pig contemplates the innocence and the anti-social behavior towards his environment. But this movie is not for everyone.
The slow-intervention and the conclusion can make you wonder about the whole journey and the point of this movie. This is an Irish film, so the Irish-accent is so thick, I found it very hard to understand what they're saying.
Only with subtitles I could understand. Overall, it's a bit depressing film but interesting nonetheless.
