Review of Disco Pigs (2001) by Rachel N — 04 Aug 2010
An intense and disturbing story about the relationship between two inseparable friends, Pig and Runt. Cillian Murphy was absolutely brilliant here as Pig, who gradually changes into a troubled and unpredictable young man.
Elaine Cassidy was terrific too, as Pig's other half, Runt. She has this innocence to her character which I loved. Overall the film was truly heart wrenching, very few films tend to have that affect on me.
