Review of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988) by Jeff D — 27 Jul 2008
Who would have thought that Michael Caine and Steve Martin would make a good comedy duo? Apparently Frank Oz did, and boy was he right! Dirty Rotten Scoundrels feels like a Billy Wilder comedy of the 60s: clever, funny and terrific fun.
Martin and Caine's tit-for-tat battle is constantly hilarious and the film has enough little twists to keep you hooked. Ruprecht!!
