Review of Dirty Pretty Things (2002) by Antonia W — 06 Dec 2007
The concept is really interesting, but the delivery was mediocre at best. You'd think after all the cheatings on the system, at least one of them would have been caught. Ejiofor seems to frown in every one of his scenes.
.. not sure if it was because of the character, or his own personal acting style. Audrey Tautou as Senay was just awesome that you can't tell she's even French anymore! I LOVE HER! Benedict Wong was also a pleasure to watch.
Still, the film is an adequate reflection of society's expendables.
