Review of Dirty Dancing (1987) by Carol H — 18 Aug 2012
This is a fairly acceptable film. However, there are a couple of things that do disturb me. One is the graphic abortion scene. (As someone who's pro-life, I'm obviously offended by something like that.
) Another is the idea of a seventeen-year-old having a relationship with a grown man. (If she was at least legal, I'd be a little more forgiving.) That's why "Dirty Dancing" gets only three out of five stars.
