Review of Diner (1982) by Andy O — 04 Jan 2010
Diner is a movie that doesn't need to do anything different because you get to the point where you feel like you know someone like each of the characters and because of this you feel like you are watching real people go about their daily lives.
There aren't many movie that are able to do this and in a movie like this where the writing and directing are excellent, the performances are just as good. That is what makes it so special and helps it stand out as one of the bet coming of age movies of all-time.
