Review of Dillinger (1991) by Jim S — 17 May 2012
A quick moving, very short gangster film from the 40s. Competent. I first I didn't like Tierney as Dillinger, but I appreciated his performance more as the film wore on. All the gang members are well played, but Anne Jeffreys as "The Lady in Red" is rather bland.
The score by Dmitri Tiomkin fits both the pace, and manages to be more varied then one would expect in a short feature of this type. In the public domain, and available freely online.
