Review of Digimon: The Movie (2000) by Eduardo M — 25 Jun 2011
As far as being a film itself, this is absolutely horrible. But, it does visualize some things that couldn't be stressed in the original cartoon. For example how Tai's sister knew the name of the Digimon Tai brought with him.
This of course does take on a darker tone but also attracts a younger audience that is already familiar with the cartoon. I grew up in the late 90's, early 00's and this show still remains my favorite especially with these characters so for those of you who are like me, I highly recommend this film.
But if you are a regular movie goer, than this film is a waste of your time.
