Review of Die Hard: With a Vengeance (1995) by Bills W — 28 Jan 2015
It has been a long time since I'd seen this and boy was it cheesy. The plot was quite 'big' in terms of epic involving the whole city for a film of its time, but some of the crazy plot twists were ludicrously over the top to get what they were trying to achieve.
Many parts of the film seemed like plot devices with their parts being pointless. The special effects were rather poor and the acting all around was very cliche, all apart from Jackson, who was the saving grace of this film and rescued it.
Willis played it by numbers, the bad guys were stereotypes and it all just needed to be over faster. Popcorn fodder.
