Review of Die Hard: With a Vengeance (1995) by Sam C — 19 May 2012

Die Hard 3: With a Vengeance is another stunning Die Hard film that is better than the second and is as good as the first one. In Die Hard 3: With a Vengeance, out hero John McClane is a back for another exciting adventure.

After a bombing in New York City by a man know as Simon, John has to help stop this madman by playing a deadly game of Simon says with Simon. McClane is joined by a local shop owner, Zeus, after he saved John from being killed during the game of Simon says.

Now these two have to run all around New York City to find bombs and stop them while Simon is planning something much bigger. One thing the Die Hard's never fail to do is let the audience have a blast.

The first Die Hard movie is an action classic and Die Hard 2: Die Harder wasn't as good as the first but it's still a fun, entertaining ride. After those two movie we have Die Hard 3: With a Vengeance which is once again directed by John McTiernan who directed the first Die Hard and Predator and with the return of McTiernan you get once again another awesome Die Hard.

With Die Hard 3: With a Vengeance you get an exciting action film that is just as good as the first Die Hard. One thing that I really liked about this movie is that it's not the usual Die Hard story were McClane runs around an area just shooting people up (even though that's really fun to watch) but this time it's more like a thriller.

I really liked the whole story of how McClane had to run around the whole city trying to stop bombs and another great thing about this story is that you may think were this movie is taking you but it actually take you somewhere else.

This movie's story was a blast and I had a very fun time following the story. Like I mentioned earlier this movie this isn't like the previous Die Hard movies were McClane just goes around shooting people but instead you get some thrilling moments.

Of course this movie has action but it has some more thrills. This movie was very thrilling and when it came to those moments I was at the edge of my seat to see if the two heroes could prevail. When it comes to action you know you'll get some awesome, exciting action sequences because it's a Die Hard movie.

Also this movie is probably the funniest out of all the Die Hard films. In the previous Die Hard films the movie had an awesome cast and Die Hard 3 continues that and brings in two great actors. Bruce Willis is back once again who gives yet another great performance as John McClane and is just as bad-ass and funny as usual but in this movie he isn't just the only star of the movie like he was in the first two movie.

A new addition to this franchise is Samuel L. Jackson who is a fantastic actor and is just absolutely amazing in this movie. He gives such a good performance in this movie and I just loved his chemistry with Willis in this movie.

Another new member to the franchise is Jeremy Irons who is just awesome as the movie's villain. Irons is just a very good villain and about as good as Rickman was in the first movie. Overall Die Hard 3: With a Vengeance is another awesome Die Hard movie that is at the same level as the first Die Hard and a movie I recommend to any Die Hard fan or action buff.
