Review of Die Hard: With a Vengeance (1995) by Bobby J — 14 Apr 2012
This movie was definitely the weakest of the series. It featured lame setups, hackneyed characters and punchlines and most of all, over the top expensive stunts that fell flat due to the thin storyline and totally superficial character development.
The most annoying aspects of the movie were:
A) Jeremy Irons' accent morphing from the "queens english" to "new age, psychotic german terrorist";.
B) The fact that the movie seemed more intent on its social commentary agenda and catering to the comedic needs of a tv and xbox saturated (mostly New York) under 15 audience than satisfying the entertainment needs of the wider audience.
