Review of Die Hard 2 (1990) by Taha A — 05 Apr 2011
Die Hard 2: Die Harder takes an evidently grittier and more brutal approach than its brilliant predecessor. There's many of the same elements here; the one man army fighting off a large supply of enemies, except this time it's set in a snow-laden airport.
Sounds good at first, but really it's a bitter disappointment. The film is brash, noisy and William Sadler's blunt terrorist reaches nowhere near the heights that Alan Rickman did in the first.
