"How can the same sh*t happen to the same guy twice.".

Director Renny Harlin's adrenaline-charged sequel is damn good, but falls short of the ultra-entertaining original. Die Hard 2 is a spectacularly action-packed, undeniably intense and a mind-blowing thrill machine that's relentless in its wicked and endless supply of bone-crushing action. An awesome early 90's action classic that's flat-out nerve-shredding and clicks with off-the-wall, over-the-top implausibilities. It's crammed with thunderous action sequences, hypnotic shootouts, pure and explosive wildness and some seriously funny and snappy dialogue. Renny Harlin and company did a magnificent job on this, its an expertly crafted action machine that relentlessly assaults you with clip-emptying firepower to the point of all-out action overload. Totally chaotic, marvelously perilous, astoundingly jaw-dropping and a damn fine piece if entertainment, the ultimate Christmas film that's just packed with its own form of holiday spirit. A classic in it's own right, but in my opinion, inferior to the original film.

Bruce Willis is back in the role o the character that shot him into superstardom. Willis does yet another great job throughout in a physically demanding and intense performance. The man is an action icon. William Sadler is quite chilling as the villain, and does an excellent job throughout.
