Review of Die Hard 2 (1990) by Steven1981 — 18 Mar 2020
Die Hard 2 directed by Renny Harlin (Cliffhanger) and starring Bruce Willis and Bonnie Bedelia. This sequel to 1988's excellent original Die Hard also with Bruce Willis this time takes place at an airport.
. Die Hard 2's violence is reduced, the action scenes are less interesting and the blood is reduced. The villains aren't that good as the original and are laughable as they take over an airport and cause mayhem.
The action scenes are pretty poor and Bruce Willis as John McClane doesn't seem as convincing as the first. I wish I could of starred in Die Hard 2 to steal a plane and fly off so I never had to watch this piece of junk in the first place.
A terrible sequel to a brilliant original.
