Review of Die Hard 2 (1990) by Mark N — 25 Mar 2012
Lackluster plot with minimal imagination to the twists certainly distract from what could have been a far more exciting sequel. The scope should have been larger to fill the more varied setting of an entire airport but ends up claustrophobically cramped with indistinct evil dooers.
Pointless subplots with the wife and journalist weigh down the pace and make things drag all the more. Still watchable for the action but far from the thrill ride it should have been.
