Review of Die Hard (1988) by Natalie F — 20 Mar 2014
If you've not seen the first Die Hard you've either been living under a cultural rock for the past 15 odd years, or you really are new to action films. If the latter, this truly is the best place to start - Die Hard really is the peak of action films.
Bruce Willis is the every day man who puts up a fight, and boy does he do it right. Whether it's blowing up elevator shafts or winding up bad guy Alan Rickman (who played his part magnificently), you can't help but keep yourself plugged in to this sharp and powerful film.
Endless rewatches, and my personal paradigm of action that all other films are compared to. 5 Stars.
