Review of Die Hard (1988) by Jjarocki — 24 Mar 2020
An excellently paced film, Die Hard is one of those films that remains as good as you remember it. Bruce Willis shines in the one film in the series that allows his vulnerability to show, and the supporting cast around him are excellent as well.
Alan Rickman debuts with a bang as Hans Gruber, delivering his lines with a cold condescension that you can't help but hate. The plot is air-tight, with not a single line of dialogue or camera movement being unnecessary.
Also the human elements in this film, adding to our connection to the character.
