Review of Die Another Day (2002) by Russell G — 16 Dec 2011
Although it is not the worst 007 movie ever made, it is close and is certainly one of the worst. The movie breaks with so many traditions and characteristics of the series and felt wrong to me, as a die-hard fan.
It starts of with Bond taken hostage as a prisoner for an extended period time, which should never happen. The iconic opening credits have been ruined with techno-dance music and goofy graphics. Halle Berry is one of the worst Bond ladies ever and the villains are also poorly done for the series.
Pierce Brosnan was a good 007, but it makes me sad to see him finish so soon and to end on such a low-note.
