Review of Die Another Day (2002) by Shawn F — 15 Oct 2012
One of the most disappointing films in the franchise. Riddled with unsubtle cheesiness and annoying self-references, as well as most of the stunts being CGI (unlike the other movies), this film lets down the rest of the franchise.
The gadgets got too out of hand and became more like Inspector Gadget rather than James Bond; the invisible car would've been better suited to a sci-fi movie, which this film awkwardly tries to imitate.
Also Madonna's anti-acting didn't help this film. The only redeeming feature this film has is Brosnan who, despite his age showing slightly, doesn't stop being a bad-ass.
