Review of Die Another Day (2002) by Anthony G — 27 Dec 2017
Brosnan's last entry as Bond very nearly delivers...just too much of everything that would be jettisoned in the next film.
Brosnan is back to his best after 2 meddling sequels. A watchable but sadly, silly entry.
Shame, as the beginning of the movie with Bond being captured and tortured over the opening credits was pretty inventive. Followed by his escape and checking into a hotel in the nude sporting a hostage beard was great but, that car! file under what were they thinking!
Gadgets 1/5 The invisible car is bad even for Bond. It kind of ruins the film.
Girls 4.5/5 Cracking selection of lovelies and Brosnan went out in good company. Halle Berry.
As Jinx, The scene of her walking out of the water was a nice touch.
Rosamund Pike.
As Miranda Frost.
Is a welcome bonus.
Bond Theme 4/5 Bond goes modern with a techno song. The song is good and its use over the opening credits works as a variation to Bond themes.
