Review of Die Another Day (2002) by Dustin D — 31 Jan 2011
Pierce Brosnan came into James' Bond shoes on a high note, with the excellent Goldeneye, but unfortunately doesn't leave the role on the same level. This film is on about the same level as The World Is Not Enough, passable but not great. Halle Berry does make a sexy bond girl though, and there are plenty of well executed, albeit bombastic action sequences. It's a bittersweet experience that may be more appreciated by diehard Bond fans, or maybe not. :I.
