Review of Dick Tracy (1990) by Leonardo - Malacay - S — 31 Jan 2009

I remember seeing the Dick Tracy comics when I was younger, but I don't think they're around now. This is a faithful depiction of those comic strips. I really appreciated the visual aspects of this movie, and how all the bad guys had some accentuated physical feature.

It was basically the comic strip come to life. Many high-caliber actors are in this one, and you wouldn't necessarily know it unless you looked closely. If you liked the comic strip-aspect of Sin City, you will like this one as well - it's just not as graphic.

And plus, how CAN you go wrong with a yellow overcoat and hat??
